Get Paid to Search, New Signups Get 30 Swagbucks

by Freebies4Mom on October 20, 2010 4:29 pm

If you still haven’t signed-up for Swagbucks then I’d love to start you off with 30 Swagbucks in your new account today. It’s the best way to earn free gift cards (and even PayPal cash) just by searching the internet.

How to get started with 30 Swagbucks (brand new sign-ups only):
1. Sign-up for Swagbucks by registering with your name, email, password, zip code, and birthdate

2. Now start using Swagbucks as your search engine and win more! Plus read my 4 Tips to Earn More Swagbucks

Introducing Swagbucks TV – New Way to Earn Swagbucks
Directly from Swagbucks: “Today Swagbucks.com is introducing Swagbucks TV, the new home for rewarding video content on the web.  Find fun, fresh, and original video entertainment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on topics ranging from Health&Beauty, to Technology, Sports, Nature, and more!  In addition to all the great content, you’ll be eligible to earn Swag Bucks periodically as you watch videos, with multiple earning opportunities and values every single day! And, for the first two weeks, they’ll be extending our referral matching program to Swagbucks TV.  That means that you’ll earn matching Swag Bucks every time your referrals earn on Swagbucks TV!  (Note: you will receive a bonus at the end of the two week period which contains the full total of all your matching TV bucks) There will even be special Swag Codes every day which reward people for answering trivia questions about the videos featured on the site.”

My favorite reward that you can redeem with your Swagbucks is the $5 Amazon.com gift certificate. You can redeem one after earning 450 Swagbucks. It’s the best value I’ve found in the gift cards section of the Swagstore because it costs only 90 Swagbucks per dollar. The beauty of Amazon.com gift cards is that you can use several in one transaction, and if you take advantage of free shipping than you really can get something for free (or pretty darn close).

My second favorite reward is the $10 Starbucks gift card. This is one of the few gift cards that Swagbucks will mail you, the rest are eGiftcards. So this makes a great gift option that you can stick in an envelope. It takes 1300 Swagbucks for a $10 Starbucks gift card.

I honestly was kind of skeptical about Swagbucks until I actually started using it consistently as my search engine. Here’s why I’m now a huge fan:
* Get Results: I get similar search results to what I would get using Google
* Rewarding: I earn Swagbucks often enough just by using it as my search engine that it feels rewarding.
* Big Wins: I often win more than a single point, my biggest one-time win was 5 points – very rewarding. There are also free codes given out often. Read their blog to catch them while they’re valid.
* Referrals are Easy: Anyone can refer their friends to use Swagbucks and earn their points faster
* $5 Amazon.com Gift Cards: It’s been easy for me to select and redeem my reward of choice when I have earned 450 points. You can redeem a maximum of two rewards per day.
* Not Annoying: Some websites simply annoy me because of the way they are designed or the ads they display. Swagbucks is not an annoying site and it’s quite user-friendly.

The biggest reason why I’m a fan of Swagbucks? I’m earning gift cards by doing something I’d normally do on the web – using a search engine. It doesn’t require any extra email. I’ve just bookmarked Swagbucks.com so that I can get there easily anytime I want to search for something. They also have toolbars that you can download so that it becomes part of your internet browser (and you earn 1 Swagbuck every day you have the toolbar). I hope that it becomes a great resource for you to earn some gift cards just by searching the web!

If you are already using Swagbucks with me, please leave a comment and share what gift cards you are redeeming and what your biggest single win on Swagbucks has been?

Heather I haven’t cashed in any swabucks yet but wondered can I get amazon gift cards and then use them for restaurant gift cards like Chilies and TGI Fridays? I would use them for Christmas gifts. Thank You for all your great info and help, LOVE your site and all your hard work, don’t know how you do it all.

Good question, I just tried and it appears that the Amazon gift cards will not apply towards a gift card sold by GiftCardMall even though it is listed on Amazon.

I also tried using the code, but it says its case sensitive. I typed it in and spaced where needed. I also typed it all as one. I think this is why I didnt sign up sooner, because of the same problem.

I’ve confirmed with Swagbucks that this code should work, so please contact Swagbucks for help: http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-support

every website I go into It’s asking for my cell number, is this normal? Are they going to send me text msg all the time?

Usually it is optional to enter your cell number, try leaving it blank. But sometimes it is required. Usually they will tell you if by entering your cell number you are giving them permission to send texts (you should be able to easily opt out at any time).

Tried copying & pasting and also just typing it in and it doesn’t work. Says the code is case sensitive and to enter a valid promotion code.

I love swagbucks and have been using it for over a year now. I normally use my sbs for the amazon giftcards, but occasionally when they do it on special, I’ve gotten cash ($5) credited to my paypal account. That’s a great one when there’s a special because there are so many webites that use paypal for their financial transactions now days.

I did not sign up under you, but with another blogger (before I found your site).
I LOVE swagbucks. I do not have any referrals ): & still love it.
But even without referrals I’ve earned $125 in Amazon giftcards (my favorite thing to redeem) in just under a yr…..yeah I know it doesn’t sound like much. But that is FREE money that I got from using the toolbar to do my searches instead of google (plus I do the daily run down of surveys, NOSO & daily poll for the extra 3 SB a day). So $125 in a yr. I treated myself to a few magazines, about 1/2 a dozen books, gardening equipment, Vermont maple syrup, 226 diapers plus more all for free.
Next up I plan on getting silly bandz for stocking stuffers.

If I more connected on facebook I could probably get a referral or two & get even more SwagBucks; but I’m not going to sweat it. It’s a easy way to make some extra $$ to buy things I normally wouldn’t buy.

Try emailing your friends and family and tell them how you’ve personally benefited and offer to help them get started to get a few referrals.
