*CLOSED* Giveaway: Melissa & Doug Standing Wooden Easel ($69.99 value)

by Freebies4Mom on December 2, 2010 6:30 am

I love Melissa & Doug toys! They provided me with a Melissa & Doug Deluxe Floor-Standing Wooden Easel ($69.99 value) to give away to one lucky reader.  They also provided me with a standing art easel to review and keep. Melissa & Doug make a wide variety of educational and creative toys for kids of all ages and I know you and your kids will love them.

Review: Standing Easel
We love our new easel! My boys can both work on it at the same time and it encourages spontaneous art opportunities (it’s always ready)!  One side is a chalkboard, and the other side is a dry erase board. It’s so clever how you can put your roll of paper in the middle.  This easel is really designed for the kids that use them.  The height is adjustable so it can grow with your child and there are large clips for securing the paper.  It’s easy to assemble and easy to “fold-up” for storage.

The Standing Easel is at Amazon for $42.49 with free super saver shipping (39% savings from original price of $69.99).

Review: Tabletop Easel
This tabletop easel is the perfect solution when you don’t have the floor space for a standing easel! My 4-year old actually helped me assemble the easel and had fun with the large green wooden screws. I was impressed that the assembly of the easel was actually designed so that kids can help by using kid-sized screws. This easel has a chalk board side and a dry erase board side. Plus both are magnetic so it is a multi-purpose art easel. Both sides have their own tray to hold art supplies.

The Tabletop Easel is at Amazon for $26.50 with free super saver shipping (34% savings from original price of $39.99).

Review: Easel Accessory Set
The perfect companion to the Standing Easel and Tabletop Easel, this set gives you all the supplies your little artist needs! We love the paint containers because they minimize the possibility of spilling, fit right into the two cup holders, and have a cap so we can save leftover paint until our next painting session. And we love the color-coordinated paintbrushes, it easily encourages kids not to mix the colors except on the paper. This set also includes paint, jumbo chalk, a dry-erase marker and eraser, plus a huge roll of paper (75 feet long)! It’s actually a great art supply set whether you have an easel or not!

The Easel Accessory Set is at Amazon for $25.99 and includes free super saver shipping (26% savings from original price of $34.99).

My daughter is OBSESSED with Melissa & Doug stuff and even though we can’t always afford to buy it, we try to get her a food play set or two every now and again. She has the wooden kitchen and is trying to collect all the wooden foods!!! 🙂 Even the art supplies and all the other goodies by M&D are AMAZING and outlast her other toys. I just found your blog and wish I had found it sooner 🙂 I am going to be a devoted follower now. HAHA

The standing easel is one of the 3 things that my daughter has asked for on her Christmas List. We don’t have a lot of money for Christmas this year, so it would be a godsend to win this for her!!! Fingers are crossed and prayers to God sent. Thank you for this giveaway.

I didn’t enter the giveaway (because we already have an easel), but just wanted to say that we love the Melissa and Doug easel paper pad. It gets used constantly, even without an easel, for all sorts of crafts. A new one is going under our tree. 🙂
