This is a guest post from Wendy of Sweeties Sweeps.
Sweepstakes are a great way to “win what you can’t afford” but many of us just don’t have that much time to spend entering sweepstakes. Here are some quick tips to help you win more prizes from sweepstakes.
Enter winnable sweepstakes. A “winnable” sweepstakes is one that has a lot of prizes (10 a day, 100 a day, 10,000 total), has a quick ending date, that is only open for 7 days, is restricted to certain people or states, or less people know about it.
Enter but don’t spend a lot of your time on sweepstakes that are highly advertised like magazine sweepstakes. If you think about it, all of those magazine sweepstakes are seen by every subscriber getting the magazine sent to their home, people reading them in doctor’s offices, at libraries, or on the newsstands. That’s a lot of competition.
Enter Twitter and Facebook promotions. Facebook has a plethora of great promotions that change everyday. Many of my readers are winning daily from Twitter. If you don’t know how to use Twitter then you need to sign up for my free Sweeping 101 course that will teach you how to win from Twitter, Facebook, protect yourself from scams, and lots more.
Useful information. Great post, I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Thank You for all the info and I must say I can Not wait to learn more and more from you. I have entered so many different sweeps and never won a single thing. That just goes to show that I did not know which ones to enter and what to do to win.
I just can’t say Thank You enough.
I am anxiously awaiting the next lesson.
I try to win things all the time with no luck, my sister on the other hand wins everything that she tries to. She won tickets to a Dodger game last week at 500 bucks a ticket and she got 4, yesterday she won 2 tickets to the Dodger game at 100 bucks a ticket. She wins hotel stays, amuesment parks, prepaid visas, money and tons of stuff, she usually gives everyone her winnings for Xmas and birthdays LOL she has a HUGE pile of “winnings” in her house. I guess she got all the luck and I got all the well lets say I didn’t get luck………………
Thanks for this great info. I like entering contests and sweeps where I can do so quickly and easy. I’m going to see how it goes with entering a few sweeps. I’ve basically stopped doing it because I’ve never won one. Like you said there is so much competition, why bother? Anyway, thanks again.
Regarding Facebook promotions: what about privacy? Every promotion I’ve tried wants access to my profile. I know that true privacy is an illusion on Facebook, but I’m wary of opening up my profile to just anyone. Just curious about what happens when you “like” something on Facebook and it opens an app.
