kari- as long as you go in on a thursday, you can sign up for and pick up your a-list gift on the same day.anonymous-you can only get the a-list gift at Aerie stores, NOT american eagle (even though they carry a small assortment of aerie merchandise). i did a store locator search and it looks like the closest aerie store to you is at woodfield mall in Schaumburg.(p.s. i work at aerie)
The store in Algonquin, Illinois wants a printed coupon for this freebie. They told me that they just don't give out free stuff.
