🍒Cherry Limeade Mocktail Recipe
I’m excited about the new naturally flavored sparkling water beverage, Dasani Sparkling, that’s available at Koger for an everyday low price of $2.99 for eight slim cans. It’s a great zero calorie treat and comes in these six flavors: Black Cherry, Lime, Lemon, Raspberry Lemonade and Tropical Pineapple. I made a Cherry Limeade Mocktail for my family to enjoy with your BBQ chicken dinner. My kids loved helping me make it, and everyone loved the flavor. I’ve got the simple recipe to share with you below.
With the summer heat my family is grilling more outside and eating lighter meals. The light flavor of Dasani Sparkling is the perfect drink to pair with our light summer meals. I’ve been making a lot of fruit-infused drinks lately, so when I picked up this large beverage dispenser I thought it would be perfect to make a drink that infuses fruit into Dasani Sparkling. My son helped me cut up limes and cherries and then poured the Dasani Sparkling on top of the fruit. I served this refreshing mocktail with BBQ chicken drumsticks and corn on the cob.
Of course you can make a Cherry Limeade Mocktail in a glass if you don’t want to make a large batch of it in a beverage dispenser. Here’s the recipe for you to try:
- Dasani Sparkling Black Cherry
- Dasani Sparkling Lime
- Fresh Cherries
- Fresh Lime
- Slice limes into thin rounds and add to beverage container (saving slices to use as garnish)
- Cut an "X" into the bottom of each cherry and add to beverage container (saving a few whole cherries to use as garnish)
- Add ice cubes on top of fruit
- Add in Dasani Sparkling Black Cherry and Dasani Sparkling Lime in equal parts until beverage container is full
- Let fruit infuse for at least one hour before serving
I hope you’ll enjoy the refreshing taste of Dasani Sparkling in all six flavors. Remember you can pick up a case of eight cans at Kroger for only $2.99.

📺Inside Out Crispy Rice Rollers Movie Night Recipe
One of my family’s favorite movies is Inside Out, so I made a fun movie snack for us to enjoy while watching this movie! I made Inside Out Rice Rollers using just three ingredients: crispy rice rollers, cookies & creme white chocolate bar and rainbow Nerds. The recipe is super easy and I’m sharing it below!
I gave my kids this tray of Inside Out Rice Roller snacks with the expectation that they would bring the tray back with a few snacks leftover. Well, they were just too good to have any leftovers, so my kids brought me back an EMPTY tray. I guess they loved them!
My family likes to have Saturday Movie Nights so we can watch a family movie together and maybe play a game afterward. Of course our german shepherd, Arya, likes to be part of movie night too – she can tell when we’re getting ready to watch a movie and she finds her favorite spot on the couch so she can nap while we watch it.
Here’s the recipe for my Inside Out Rice Rollers movie snack. I found the crispy rice rollers near the popcorn at my grocery store.
Inside Out Crispy Rice Rollers Movie Snack
Such an easy movie night snack to make with only three ingredients!
Ingredients
Crispy Rice Rollers (find them near the popcorn aisle)
Cookies & Creme White Chocolate Bars (or just white chocolate bars)
Rainbow Nerds Candy
Instructions
- Melt the cookies & creme white chocolate bars in a double broiler on the stove.
- Dip the crispy rice rollers in the melted white chocolate, covering about half of the roller
- Roll the roller in rainbow nerds candy until covered
- Set roller on waxed paper to cool off for at least one hour
Back to school means back to homework! My kids both love to play First In Math games, so they login on a regular basis to play. We setup a new homework station for my kids who are entering 4th and 5th grades. It’s a large table that we divided down the middle using red duct tape to clearly define each child’s side. All of their school supplies are within easy reach and organized in storage drawers. We are hopeful that this new homework area makes it easier for my kids to concentrate, gives them more space to spread out their books and papers, and keeps their homework off the dinner table! It’s important to have a lightning fast internet connection because every year the kids are completing more of their homework online.
I had the pleasure of visiting an Xfinity Store in Houston recently, and learned about their wide variety of high tech services and how they are transforming the customer experience. One of the coolest things I got to try was the voice-activated remote for X1 by XFINITY. I have a strong dislike for the awkward keyboards that appear on our television screen, so the voice-activated remote is at the top of my wish list! It’s so easy and fast to use, even for the littlest members of your family!
