My kids love playing on playgrounds at the park! When my kids were younger, it felt like we lived at the park because we would go there almost every day – either to play or to attend an exercise class (I exercised while the kids lounged in the stroller – lucky them!). My kids are older now (8 and 9 years old) but we still love to visit our local parks to play on the playground, experience nature, and go on bike rides! Parks are important for kids to stay healthy, but there are many neighborhoods that either don’t have parks or they have parks that need help.
I want to spread the word about #ValpakSaves, a new community service program by Valpak who has partnered with KaBOOM!, a national non-profit that promotes play by building, opening and improving playgrounds. You can support this community service project by donating $5.00 to #ValpakSaves or engaging with my Twitter and Facebook posts below. When you make a donation, you’ll receive a sweet coupon for 15% off your next Fairytale Brownies order to thank you for your support.
Have you ever received a blue envelope in your mailbox filled with money-saving offers for local services and businesses? Those blue envelopes are brought to you by Valpak, a company that serves close to 40 million homes with a mission to help people save money. Valpak doesn’t just want to help people save money, they also want to give back to the community by promoting play for children of all ages. That’s why Valpak partnered with KaBOOM!, so that together they can have a more direct impact on neighborhoods that need new playgrounds or playground improvements. KaBOOM! is a national non-profit that has opened or improved nearly 16,000 playgrounds across the nation. They have a really cool interactive map of playgrounds that you can use to find a new playground near you!
Help me spread the word about this community service program – can I get a retweet please?
