Attending Regal’s Free Family Film Festival sounds like a great idea to me! This free event lasts for nine weeks and they show a free rated G or PG movie at 10 am Tuesday and Wednesday each week. It sounds like they will be posting more details soon – so I will keep my eye out for the participating locations and list of movies showing.
Speaking of movies, summer is a popular time for movie theaters to offer special promotions. Amy wants you to know that Cinemark also has a Summer Movie Club where you can watch 10 movies for $5 – that’s some cheap movie tickets! And Carrie at Money Saving Methods has got the details & the schedules for AMC, Classic Cinemas, and Rave Movie Theatres. And my Arizona readers will benefit from Bargain Moms “Summer Movie Fun” post.
Do you know of any other movie theater chains offering free or deeply discounted movies this summer?
We look forward to this every week during the summer.
I took my kids to several free movies at the Regal last summer. They loved it! The only down side was that for months after, they kept asking when we were going to see Care Bears: The Movie, Part 2 again. They do tend to pull some of the selections from WAAAAY back. :)
Hi Heather,Here is a link to my post from last weekend with a list of many different theatres offering these programs again this summer.http://moneysavingmethods.blogspot.com/2008/05/super-saturday-savings-movie-theatres.htmlHope this helps your readers enjoy themselves this summer and get out of the heat for a bit!
