4 Steps to Earn More YouData Money

by Freebies4Mom on January 25, 2010 12:27 pm

It’s true, I help my readers make money from the ads on my blog! Are you earning money from YouData by viewing ads on Freebies 4 Mom? If so, here are 4 tips to earn even more! If not, read below to learn more about how to get started.

4 Steps to Earn More Money from YouData

1. Complete Surveys in Your MeFile
I just earned 20 cents by viewing 2 ads. But after I filled out 13 of the 26 surveys available in my MeFile I was able to view 3 more ads to earn 30 cents more! I had already filled out 13 surveys previously, but there were a lot of new ones when I checked. Remember that these surveys are optional, but by filling them out you are eligible to view targeted ads. Just login to YouData, click on “Your MeFile”, and start filling out surveys.

2. Login and Check for New Ads Daily
It’s true that if you don’t login, you can’t view new ads! I always keep the YouData box in my right sidebar, so just login and check for new ads every time you visit my blog.

3. Click the Refresh Button Often
Did you login and don’t see any new ads to view? Click the “Refresh” button at the bottom right because often a few new ads will appear when you do. Even after I’ve viewed ads I always click the “Refresh” button again and often see new ads appear after I do.

4. Be Patient
YouData is an innovative way of advertising and it will take awhile for new advertisers to catch-on. Be patient and remember that every penny earned on YouData was earned with just a few seconds of your attention. Be grateful that YouData is the first, and only advertiser that pays you the reader for viewing ads on blogs like mine!

Start Getting Paid every Friday by YouData

1. Create an account
Don’t be intimidated, but they need some information from you. Hey, they also need to know what PayPal account (create a PayPal account here) to put your earnings in every Friday (this only requires your email address)! Some of the information is optional, and you’ll see it clearly marked as optional. They will not ask for your mailing address, but they will need your cell phone number to send you one text message. This is necessary to confirm your registration and helps them enforce the limit of only one YouData account per person. Registration requires one text message, and you will not receive any additional text messages after you register.

2.Fill out optional surveys in Your MeFile
I really think you will make more money if you fill these out because they allow the targeted ads to appear for you – these are ads that you would likely have more interest in.

3. Log in at Freebies 4 Mom
Look at my right sidebar and scroll down until you see the woman’s face and the YouData logo. Just enter your MeFile ID and password and click on “Remember Me” if you don’t want to log in every time you visit.

4. Slide over to “Keep 100%
You can not see the slide bar unless there are ads available for you to view and earn money! I want you to earn all of the money, so slide that bar over to keep 100% of the earnings. This ad is specifically for my readers and I included it for YOU to make money. Please don’t give me any of your money! My job is to give you money. There are other ways you can get to the YouData ad box to view ads, but you will only see that slidebar if you are viewing it on a blog that hosts it (like mine).

5. Remember to Click and Jump
You earn money by viewing banner ads and by clicking on the links to jump to an advertiser’s website. It’s really easy and very fast to do. You just have to remember to do it every week so that you can keep getting paid! Of course the supply of ads to view varies, and you’ll earn varying amounts each week. My first week of earnings was $4.43 – your first week will always be the highest earnings because you will have lots of new ads to view.

6. Enjoy your FREE MONEY
Hey – that’s free money (ok, you did pay a few seconds of attention for each paid ad). Those pennies and dollars will add up and you’ll be able to use it on something you need or want. You will get your money deposited automatically in your PayPal account every Friday, there is no minimum required to get paid! I plan on using that PayPal money for online purchases, but it is possible also to link it to your banking account. Please inquire with PayPal what fees are associated with doing that.

You can sign-up for YouData here, or by clicking on the YouData box in the right sidebar (picture of a woman with an orange “Sign-up” button). I’m so excited to help you start earning this money just by viewing ads! If you have any questions, please ask by leaving a comment on this post.

Thanks for sharing this! Signed up and after filling out all the surveys and clicking my ads, I’ve earned $1.36 already. It won’t make me rich, but it will definitely be another one of my small money makers. I also like SwagBucks, Ebates, and eBay’s cash back program – which is even better if you choose the Bill Me Later option. If anyone knows of any other fairly quick and easy, and of course legitimate money makers, please do share.

i don’t even get 1 a week mine is like 1 every 3 weeks. I don’t understand it either!!! can WE GET more info on what we r doing wrong? Please!

Heather December 17, 2010 at 11:12 pm

I’m guessing their ad inventory is just low, it will never be the same every week. And the ads vary by region. I’ve shared my tips on how to get more ads to view (fill out the optional surveys) so there isn’t anything else to boost the number of ads. It’s a very small money-maker but I like it because it’s easy and quick.

Louise – PayPal does charge YouData a small fee when they make a deposit to your account – so that's why you're seeing a little less than you earned. -HeatherFreebies 4 Mom

Thanks for the ways to earn more money from YouData. I just earn a dime here and a dime there. Now hopefully I can earn more. My biggest concern though is why when it gets to Paypal is it less than what I earned. For example if I earn .20 Paypal only shows .19. Does Paypal need the money that bad that they would take my measly penny?

also didnt' see the keep it all button but did earn 27 cents can you let this money just keep adding to your paypal account or do you have to get them to send you a check. I have an ebates payment but my account shows a zero balance . I don't get it am new to this

Heather…I'm getting ready to write a blog post about YouData as I've been earning money from them for quite some time and thought it was time to get referrals. I do have a question though…do you know how I can put the actual adget on my site? I've looked around on theirs and don't see where I can get it. How did you do it?

Goose Hill Farm February 24, 2010 at 10:17 am

Thanks so much! I have signed up and have already made almost $2.00 and I didn't even have to get out of my jammies! :> )

Jess and the boys February 16, 2010 at 7:46 pm

I do not get this at all. What am I suppose to be doing? I am all signed up and I clicked and it now says .28 cents, but did nothing

Heather February 16, 2010 at 7:36 pm

Dori – Sorry, but yes that means you can't sign-up for YouData. If they change their registration process I will definitely let everyone know! Right now it's kind of restrictive.-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom

Would love to sign up but do not have my carrier T-Mobile listed…so does that mean I cannot sign up?

Heather January 28, 2010 at 4:31 pm

It's my understanding that you do have to have a cell number that can receive text messages for YouData registration – this is their way of keeping people honest and limiting them to one account per person. If they change the way they do their registration, I will post something new to let everyone know!-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom

If you don't have a cell phone or can't read text messages, can you still sign-up? I already saw someone ask something similar, but no answers. Please let us know!

Heather January 27, 2010 at 8:49 am

If you aren't viewing ads on my blog, then you won't see that slider bar to Keep or Give. That's because as a blogger, I get paid a little for hosting those ads – but you decide if you keep or give your ad money. But there are other ways to view the ads, as you discovered!-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom

I am signed up and am using the text ad player, not the Ad-Player that can be installed. I have looked and looked for the "Keep 100%" and cant find it anywhere. I have viewed several ads thinking I overlooked it…still cant find it???????

sara January 26, 2010 at 11:03 pm

I would love to sign up for this but my cell phone provider is not on there and no response from email 🙁

Anonymous January 25, 2010 at 5:53 pm

Ok, THANKS Heather! I love your site!

Heather January 25, 2010 at 4:57 pm

You can only see that bar when you have a new ad to view. It will be at the top and you can slide it over to "100% Keep".

Anonymous January 25, 2010 at 4:56 pm

I just signed up but i'm not sure what bar you are talking about sliding over to keep 100% of the earnings?

Mel O'Drama January 25, 2010 at 3:13 pm

very cool. thanks for the info. i just signed up and the ads so far have been really cool.

Christine January 25, 2010 at 2:16 pm

I can't get text messages, does that mean I can't sign up?

Leslie Rodgers January 25, 2010 at 1:20 pm

I have personally signed up for this site and it is by no means a get fast rich sit but I enjoy going here and getting a ew cents every week. And they do pay out every week. I really like this one.
