Update 4/17/08: Yes, Kroger has the Brita Water Filtration Pitcher Slim Model, 40 oz. on sale for $4.99. I just saw it in the ad that is for April 16-22. Hope you can use this coupon for a free Brita pitcher for those who have a Kroger near them! Good luck finding one, my store was “sold out” of these today.
Update 4/15/08: I’ve heard that the print limit for this coupon may have been reached, and that means that no one else can print it. Let me know what happens when you register by posting a comment here.
You can get a printable coupon to Save $5 on a Brita Water Pitcher when you take the pledge to switch to a reusable water pitcher. You can print this coupon twice. Then you might be able to take this coupon to any store that has these pitchers on sale for $5 to get it for free!Kroger has these on sale for $4.99 through Tuesday, April 22. I expect they will fly off the shelves rather quickly!!! Please leave a comment if you know of any other store that has these on sale to give you a great deal or a freebie!
i am in southeast ohio and the water pitchers at kroger’s are $14.99, not $4.99 on sale. if they are $4.99 in your area and you have the flyer. take it to walmart . it will be honored. ;)
I’m really not sure, Candace. I haven’t tried that before – I don’t usually shop at Walmart.
If you have a Walmart they should price match, no?
Thanks for sharing your campaign, Beth!
Hi there. Just wanted to give you some info about a new campaign related to Brita water filters.Did you know that Brita is owned by Clorox in North America? In Europe, there is a program to drop off your used filter cartridges (which are made from plastic) in stores, from which they are sent back to Brita and recycled. In North America, Clorox has no such program for recycling Brita cartridges. So we’ve begun a new campaign called “Take Back The Filter” to urge them to:1) Redesign the filters so they can be refilled2) Create a take-back program like in Europe3) Develop a way to dismantle and recycle/re-use the materials rather than landfilling or incinerating them. Please visit http://www.takebackthefilter.org to sign the petition and maybe even send us your used filter cartridges! Thanks,Beth
I hope they have it, KrisinTN – like I said this may be a regional sale.
I’m going straight to Kroger when I get off work.
Ashley emailed me this comment: “I wanted to let you and everyone know the Brita pitcher is on sale at Kroger this week for $4.99 through Saturday. I know sales may differ in different areas, so I’m in the Raleigh, NC area. I hope this helps people, and thanks again for another great freebie! :o)”
Glad you found Freebies 4 Mom, and glad you got the coupon, GrandmaKathleen!
I just printed the coupon and plan on getting the Brita system. I am all for “Saving our environment” I saw the Biggest Loser” promoting this last week and thought it was a great idea, but I didn’t go to their site until I saw your post. Thank you for posting this. I found your blog on my daughter-in-law’s blog 2lilpumpkins. I have added you to my favorites.
I hope you will be able to use this coupon, Doona24. Like I said I’m not sure where the best place to go to use this coupon, but keep your eye peeled for a sale and use it then to get a good deal.
Thank you so much for this post, I have always been interested in trying this system.
