*Expired* $5 off $5 JCPenney Purchase

by Freebies4Mom on February 17, 2009 4:02 pm

You can still sign-up, but they are no longer offering the $5 off $5 coupon.
Have you joined JCP Rewards? When you sign-up for JCP Rewards you will get a printable coupon for $5 off any $5 purchase. Look in the lower left-hand corner and pay attention to that promo code so you can enter it when you register. JCP Rewards is a way to earn rewards for shopping at JCPenney when you register your credit card (any card, not just a JCPenney card) with them. Andrea says you don’t have to register a credit card in order to print the $5 off $5 purchase coupon! When Amanda Saves told me about this great coupon I knew I had to pass it along to my readers. It also sounds like a good way to save a little more if you show at JCPenney on a regular basis.

I just registered and did not enter any credit/debit card info and it did not give me a $5 coupon. Kohl’s was much easier.

Hello, I shop at JCPenney all the time & I used to work there. As far as quality it depends on what you buy. I have numerous items I have purchased at JCP that have lasted for years.

I just tried this and it worked great! Thanks for the tip!

Just so people are aware, JC Penney clothing is not the highest of quality. I’ve worked there and I know first hand the condition and quality. Don’t worry, I’m not saying this because I’m a disgruntled employee–I’m retired. But I want to let people know before they buy. The clothes might not last that long.

I registered and did not put in my cc info but where do you get the coupon?

jackie February 18, 2009 at 9:08 am

Ya, I just got my coupon w/out registering a credit card!! thank you!!!

You DON’T have to register any credit card to get the coupon. It will give you a chance to continue on w/o doing so and still print the $5 coupon. You would have to enter cc info if you plan on shopping online and earning more point stuff.
