What do you do with your expired manufacturer’s coupons? Throw them away? Did you know that most oversea military bases have stores (called Commissaries) that accept expired manufacturer’s coupons? To find out more, visit the Overseas Coupon Program. I have not had any experience working with this organization, I simply wanted to pass along this link in case you are interested in contributing your expired coupons to military families.
If any of my readers are mailing their expired coupons to a military family, or receiving them as a military family, I would love to hear about your experience!
I just found out today about overseas commissaries accepting expired coupons. A friend in line ahead of me saved $77 using expired coupons from her mom’s stateside church. It sounds like a great program!
The US Commissaries do NOT accept expired coupons! HTH!~ Susan
I’m not sure, but when I connected with a military mom in Hawaii, she told me that her Commissary didn’t accept expired coupons. That makes me think it is something unique to overseas bases.
We have commissaries her in the U.S. as well. Do the U.S. ones take expired coupons as well? Anybody know? I just assumed they didn’t.
