called an office depot here in ontario, ca. and told them about it and they said to print out the info and they will acknowledge it. so i went over there with 6 pounds of papers to shred and they did shred it. i just had to pay 99 cents coz limit is 5 pounds. not bad!
My Office Depot refused to honor it too.

I checked on line and found a coupon for 25% off of shredding making it about 79 cents a p0und. A pound of paper is about 100 sheets or 1/2 inch. Offer good until 3/31
I called my Office Depot and they said there is no such offer. They charge 99 cents a p0und to shred documents.
