General Mills wants your opinion! You can sign up for a free membership to the Mills Advisory Panel (MAP) to participate in surveys and studies, give your input on new products, and earn rewards points for prizes.
The Mills Advisory Panel is a consumer panel that reviews products for General Mills and Small Planet foods. They will send you notifications via email about surveys and projects for you to participate in. The company usually sends you 6-12 surveys per year, which can take 10-20 minutes to complete. In return for participating in special projects and studies, you can receive MAP points which can be redeemed for prizes.
You must be a MAP member to participate. Membership is free, and you can sign up in the Join Now section of their website. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire about the consumption behavior of your household, and then you will be eligible to participate in their projects.

Hi Heather,
I was about to join the panel until I read the terms…this is probably one of the silliest things I’ve ever read and so I declined. I’m a member of many magazine and corporate panels, but this one will have to do without me!
And I quote “Without limitation, we shall exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the suggestions of every kind and nature throughout the Universe and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the comments for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise without compensation to the provider of the suggestions.”
Throughout the Universe!
I’d love to hear your opinion.
Do you have to have a blog to participate?
I don’t think so, it’s an opportunity for consumers (not bloggers).
Once you redeem your points for a gift card, do you have to pay shipping and handling when they mail it?
