If you have health insurance that is not through your employer (and you don’t have Medicaid or Medicare), I’ve got a paid survey for you to take about health insurance. Earn $25 to your choice of Paypal or Amazon for taking a 23-question survey about health insurance from Joany (formerly Impact Health). It’s an easy survey to take if you qualify and only took me about 5 minutes. You will need to upload or text a photo of your health insurance card to confirm your health insurance provider.
At the end of the survey you have the option to join their advocate program to share this survey with your friends. They’ll pay you $25 for every qualified referral you bring them (and there is no limit on how many referrals they’ll pay you for). This is an awesome opportunity to participate in a research study and get paid well for it! Thanks goes to Cheryl for sharing!
Share this survey with your friends and retweet me please!

I did this with 2 different insurance and NEVER got anything. Thinking this is a scam looking to see what they can find. Both insurances are well know and it never got anything.
I’m sorry about that – I know it’s not a scam because I’ve done it myself and so have many of my readers. Did you try contacting their Customer Service?
I completed the survey and got to the last question asking how I wanted to be paid, but the site won’t allow me to complete that question! They have all my info., but won’t allow me to enter my email address of how I want to get paid.
Crazy – I haven’t heard of that error before. Please email hello@joany.com to ask them for help. Let me know what they say!
I never got paid and regret I gave them my info. I consider this a scam.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I did receive my payout and I know many of my readers did too.
Worked for me, mostly. They did come back and make a request that I prove I have the insurance I discussed in the survey, and there was a dollar and change taken as a fee by Paypal. (I’ve heard it papal fees depend on how the sender categorizes the payments.
All links given come right back to this page- no surveys.
This survey is still open, here is the direct link: https://impacthealth.typeform.com/to/k0QlOx?referral=36c050fa185700f4c220699089d13657
I never got paid.
I completed my survey yesterday morning and I was paid this morning via paypal. How long does it take for the referrals to be paid?
I’m not sure, but I do know that they make referral payments at least once a month.
i googled the # to text the card to & it came up as scam ..https://2000i.net/3232847705.who.called
It’s not a scam. I did the survey and they paid me. They are also paying me for all referrals I make to them.
My insurance card is so old that the numbers aren’t readable in a scan – they haven’t sent me a ” you didn’t qualify” yet. It’s the magnetic strip that is scanned when you get services anyway so an unreadable front isn’t important. If they accept mine, you can probably accomplish the same thing with White-Out
Never received the $25 after completing the survey.
Thanks everyone for the feedback via your comments. Now I’m leery that people get paid on a timely manner or there is not some other hook to get the gift card eventually. I think I’ll skip the gift card offer. Sounds like they’re fishing for marketing information on the cheap. Plus my state, Minnesota, has a great state insurance exchange (I did the survey up to the point where they want my insurance card info … ugh, no). Paul
Just to let you know, my experience with Impact Health has been good and they pay me in a timely manner. Yes, it is a marketing research study.
Has anyone gotten paid from this for referring people? If so how long did it take to receive the payment and how many people did you get paid for? They say unlimited but could I really send them 1000 people?
As far as I can tell, you can earn unlimited referral credits. They have been prompt about paying me every month for the referrals I generate.
Yes I do
Your readers should know that when they receive payment for this survey, they will be paying the PayPal fee associated with receiving the money, so they won’t get the full $25.
Use Venmo, it’s free!
Did anyone actually get paid for this survey? Because I didn’t. I uploaded my insurance card. And then they requisted additional picture of the bill for this insurance. Which I sent. And then they emailed confirmation that I qualify for payment and promissed to pay me within 2 bisiness days. It’s been 2 weeks since then. Not a penny on my paypal from them.
I’m sorry about that Amalia – did you email them about it? I got paid and I’ve heard from many of my readers who got paid too. Sometimes they get backed up and payments are delayed.
Did you ever get the payment?
Yes, I received my payment from Impact Health.
How do you get your referral link? I just finished my survey and they want me to share, is that my referral?
Hi Jen – They should email you your referral link.
Can residents from countries other than The United States participate in the survey.?
I think this survey is only available to US residents.
I filled it out 5 days ago and still have not been compensated
i have none
Can tricare participants take the survey?
Ena –
I’m guessing that you would qualify for the survey, but you would have to fill it out in order to find out. I haven’t heard any comments from anyone with Tricare.
Ena it says insurance offered through an employer does not qualify, but I think you might can still get the referral link. They want people who are purchasing their own insurance privately, nt through employer and not medicaid or medicare.
Should also be noted that when they send you the $25, the make YOU pay the PayPal fee, so you really only get $23.97. I was a little irked about that.
Doesnt work for medicaid or medicare either!
Yeah, I was a bit miffed when I found that out too!
Well, it stands to reason that it wouldn’t work for either Medicaid or Medicare…they are government issued healthcare.
— The survey is about people paying for their coverage, individually & not from the workplace.
Hi there! Just took the survey and I do not think it even took my five minutes… took me longer to find my insurance card to send to them! LOL
Thank you
At the very end, after answering all the questions, you must upload a copy of your health insurance card to be sure you are eligible. If you don’t want to do this or can’t then don’t spend time filling out the survey since there’s that surprise at the end. Anyway, I will not give a copy of my health insurance information even if the claim is it’s safe and they follow HIPAA guidelines. If that doesn’t bother you, then it could be away to earn a little extra $. Thanks
Yes, Sharon – they do ask for a copy of your health insurance card and I’ve included that information in my post. It’s smart to be cautious about your personal information. I did some research on the company, Impact Health, and I felt comfortable giving them my health insurance information. I’ve actually signed up for their free healthcare concierge service because I think they can help me save money.
Hi,
Don’t do that.. to much info on it….. That people could use….
I had the same arguement with my spouse.
The info on the card does not really give any personal info. . . .
If someone were to try to use the policy & group number for health care, they would still need to produce ID inorder to use it.
They want you to upload a picture or text a picture of your insurance card in order to get the $25. I am not able to do either of those things.
Yes Julie, unfortunately that is a requirement. I scanned my card and uploaded the PDF file.
