Update: Call your local Picture People studio and ask them if they will honor this coupon – some studios will only do it for existing Portrait Club members, others will do it for anyone.
Print a coupon for a free Portrait Package that includes one 8×10, two 5x7s, and eight wallet sized portraits of the same image at Picture People through July 25. Thanks goes to Moneywise Moms for sharing this deal with me. I don’t usually post portrait deals because I know it is so tempting to buy more than the free package. But I think if you walk-in with a plan and stick to your plan – if you only want to get the free package you can do that. I recommend that you call Picture People to make an appointment because you have to schedule it before July 25 in order to use this coupon. Ashley also emailed me about this deal and she said they don’t have any session or sitting fees. I’ve never used Picture People before, but I hear they are a popular studio to get kids pictures done at.

I called the store to make sure they would honor the coupon and made an appointment. When we showed up, they took us in right away. The pics turned out great. I did buy another sheet ($18), but I liked both poses. It was definitely worth it. I would do it again. Suggestion: I booked my appointment for Sunday at 11:00 am, which is when they open. Therefore I had the first appointment of the day. I think they did overbook, but I was there waiting when they opened and got in first.satcphile1@yahoo.com
I took advantage of the free portrait package and i was disappointed! We made an appt. But they were obviously overbooked and we had to wait 30 minutes with a walking/running 14 month old. Then had to wait an additional 30 minutes afterward to view extra pictures we didn't want and couldn't afford
I took advantage of the last offer posted and it was great. I made an appt and brought my 3 kids. The photographer did group shots and indiv. The photographer was patient and kind with the kids and got some good shots. My objective was to walk out with just the free pkg. I totally caved and bought an extra 8×10. I think it cost $18. So for that price I got my free 8 x10, 2 5x7s and wallets plus the one I paid for. I will say there was no pressure and they would have let me walk with my free photos. I was impressed with the lack of pressure to buy. Good experience overall.
I took advantage of the free package deal that you had posted last time. I wasn't pleased with the outcome of the pictures so the photographer did it again and even threw in a couple of extra prints for free. There was no sitting fee and I had all 4 of my boys photographed. Overall I was happy with the second batch of pictures and the helpfulness of the photographer. They have many props to use in the pictures and specialize in child photography. I've used them on several occasions and always love the pictures I get! Although they can be pricey-if you have a coupon it's definitely worth the trip!
The Picture People are so wonderful with the kids. and they dont stop until they have great pictures. They are tricky thought, they bring out this huge picture of your kid(s) in a frame and tell you what a great deal it is, but for the most part, if you let them know what you want, they stick with it. they will try to sell you their club membership, but even thats a good deal. I have tried going to Sears and JCPenney, and maybe I've just been spoiled by PP, but I HATE going to the other places. A coupon may say free, but there is ALWAYS a hidden fee. And they are SO pushy and the pictures arent near as good. Picture People is always putting out coupons for a free 8×10 or 10×13. never a fee, always a grat picture. and no limit to amount of people in the sitting. this is great if you dont have the money for a complete package but you want to commemorate your child's milestone or birthday, whatever.
I received this coupon in my email and have never even been to Picture People or become a portrait club member. I'm taking my son next Friday. They knew about the coupon when I made my appt. and did not ask if I was a club member.
going to get my kiddos picture made Friday! Thanks
Yay! Just called and made an appointment for my little one this week! Thanks for pointing out this great deal.
Thank you for this coupon. We got our daughter's 6 month old portrait done on Sun. July 12, 2009. It was great. Very pleased.
You're right, there is no session fee. We've used the Picture People several times. There are quite frequently coupons for free 8x10s and 25% off the purchase of other photos. Their photos are always great! I would recommend getting the free package for sure!
mjsneakypete – Thanks for letting me know, I'll update my post!-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom
I just called to make my appointment and was told that this offer is for already existing portrait club members only, and that they will be verifying membership at the sitting. I am a portrait club member so it's not a big deal, but I thought I'd let the readers know so they don't run into trouble trying to use this coupon. I was told these coupons were emailed directly to the portrait club members and are not intended for non-members. Just want to spare someone any issues. :)
There's never a fee. We just go to the mall and they do a great job with my crazy kids. Usually you do get sucked into buying more, but being able to get THREE free sheets is just fantastic!
i'm a sucker at picture people. it's so hard to choose just one photo1
We love the picture people, but you're right, we always stick to our guns because you can get sucked into spending way too much money for admittedly cute pictures. They usually do a great job, though, so we love using the free 8×10 coupons they usually put out. I've NEVER seen one for a whole package! WOW! I'm so excited to get a new family picture done! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Tammy – I'm told that there is no sitting fee, but I would encourage you to call your local Portrait People to confirm that before you make your appointment. Also, at the top of their website it says "No Session Fees".-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom
Does anyone know how much the sitting fee is?
I'm definitely taking advantage of this deal!!! I love Picture People, their pictures are great and they don't make the children pose!!! My kids just do their thing and the photographer just shoots away!!!
