I’m sorry you missed this freebie, but please check more Free Samples currently available. Who needs a free razor? Request a free Schick Hydro Silk Razor when you text SCHICK to 24444 and click on the link to the mobile-friendly form. If you don’t have a smartphone but can send a text message, then forward the text reply that Schick sends you because you should be able to access the form from your computer (just be aware the link you get is unique and can only be used ONCE).
You should receive your freebie in your mailbox within 6 to 8 weeks. Thanks goes to Megs for sharing. Please know what your cell phone plan charges for text messages, because you are responsible for any fees for sending text messages.
I got one!! I do not have a smartphone, only a regular phone that accepts texts and it does not have the ability to forward to email either so I wanted to post this info. I DO have a wifi only tablet though.
I sent the text to 24444 and got the link sent to my cell phone. I then typed in the exact link to the firefox browser in my Android Tablet. It did not appear to be a mobile site but I can’t say for sure if this will work on a desktop of not.
**I also wanted to comment about the post RE:$9.99 monthly charges. This specific freebie is a Schick sponsored sample promotion. (The promotion is called Razorvention) Before you submit your form it asks to sign you up for Schick newsletters and at the end it links you to the Official Schick Hydro Silk Facebook page. In addition at the bottom of all the form pages is has all the proper copyright marks for Energizer (apparently one of Schick’s affiliates), Schick, Hydrdo Silk, etc. You will find all the privacy policy’s in order and contact us emails in place. These are all things that people who sign up for freebie sites should naturally check for and I’m sure are familiar with.
I have premium texting blocked on my phone because companies sign you up for monthy “messaging” packs @ 9.99 a month. When I tried this it sent me a message that my account has blocked it. So I hope all you ladies didn’t get roped into a 9.99 a month useless subscription for a free razor!!

I’m guessing you have Verizon? Here’s a tip someone left on my Facebook page:
I, too, got the premium message alert. If you are a Verizon customer you may want to review this as you may receive charges.

Got it! Thanks!
So glad you got it too, Kathie!
Thanks!
You’re very welcome!
I did it and it highlighting my email saying it doesn’t mach or something and it does but it wont go? ;(
Ugh – that is frustrating! Try again starting with the blank form. I hope it works!
Amy — It did the same thing with me — It is case sensitive for your confirmation email. Meaning that both the email fields have to match exactly, including uppercase and lowercase fields.
I sent the text from a regular (not smartphone) phone and then forwarded the link to my email. I was then able to use the link from my desktop and it worked.
So glad that worked for you!
I don’t have a smartphone but I texted “schick” and when they sent me a link I just entered it into the browser bar on the computer. It worked fine. You can only use your link and can not share. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing that tip, Brenda!
I dont have a smart phone. Sent the text and got my reply. Then did as Brenda, and typed the link on my computer!! Worked just great. Thank you so much for the freebie!!!!
Thank you! :)
I’m happy I could help connect you with this great freebie!
Got one!! Thanks for posting Heather!
You’re welcome – glad you got this freebie!

I tried using the link above and it says . Sorry links alreat been used to please text to get a new link
Yes, the unique one-time use links are not shareable. That’s why this offer is only available via text by smartphone. There isn’t a shareable link (that I’ve found).
Please don’t share the unique one-time use link you are sent, because it won’t work for anyone but you!
i cant click on those types of links on my phone what can i do?
Gina –
I’m sorry, but because they text you a link then it’s only available to those on a smartphone that can open the link to the mobile form. So sorry – if I see this freebie offered on a website instead I’ll let you know!
