You enter your first sweepstakes with the expectation that you wonât win, but you might have fun trying to win. Then you get so excited a prize shows up at your door and you find out you did win that first sweepstakes you enter! Thatâs what happened to Wendy and here is her âSweeps Success Storyâ thanks to my weekly Sweeps 4 Mom posts:
âI found this blog last week and started entering the daily sweeps you had listed. One of the first ones I entered was on the NBC site. I actually donât even know the name of the sweeps. Anyway, I got an email last last week (maybe 2 days after I entered) saying that I had won and to reply with my info. I replied and then tried to find the contest so I could know what I had won. All it said was the contest was over. Today the FedEx guy shows up with a big box. I opened it up and inside was an autographed Jessica Simpson bag and a years worth of Beauty Mint skincare products! I canât believe I won one of the first sweeps I entered. hahaha So happy I found your blog!â

Not to rain on anyoneâs parade here but I have been entering all these âsweepsâ and so called wonderful contests for months now. I have lost countless hours of sleep and hours of time lost at work and I have not won a single prize! Not so much as a dang sticker. Needless to say I am highly disappointed :( and saddened that I wasted so much time in tryingâŠâŠ
I was so excited when I came home yesterday to see a box from the Dr. Oz showâŠI won a SodaStream Pop maker!! My children were thrilled and it came just in time for summer!!!
I started playing last summer and have won a bunch of cool things. I started winning with the Nestle Reading Sweepstakes and won a lot of âBookCashâ. But this November, I won the âTaco Bell Frito Lay Goldhunter Gameâ. . I called the toll free number and was told, âCongratulations! You are a winner of $1,000 in gold coins!â My fiance and I took a weekend trip to a cabin in Blue Ridge, Ga Awesome! I also won from several others but then the Carmex Le Bron James contest notified me via email that I had won $170 Nike gift card. Thank you so much for your hardwork and dedication. Since, I started following your blog and it has helped my family so much.

Iâve won quite a few items over the years, but just one âbigâ one, a trip to LA to see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl.
But my most interesting story is getting a FedEx delivery the day after Thanksgiving. It was a large box that was sort of beaten up and had a messy handwritten label. I wondered what I was receiving, even wondering if it was some sort of joke or something. I opened it, with my visiting family members (it was Thanksgiving, after all) by my side. I even remarked, âMaybe I won something??â As I opened it, I discovered a large Vera Bradley bag stuffed with all sorts of items, including Vera Wang perfume, jewelry, bluetooth headphones, nice ipod speakers, and a coupon for a $200 pair of jeans at a boutique in NYC (I sent it to my friend who lives there â boy was she happy!). I honestly had no idea what sweeps I had even entered to win. A couple of days later, I received an email from someone at Billboard magazine wanting to confirm I received my package. Turns out I won one of the swag bags that all the presenters got from the Women In Music Awards! A fun surprise and all of my visiting family members got to go home with some early Christmas gifts!
