*Expired* Walmart Freebies: The Box Hack

by Freebies4Mom on August 27, 2008 8:22 am

Today I’m celebrating 1,000 posts! Don’t miss my 3 giveaways you can enter today only for 1,000 business cards, 1,000 coupons, and gourmet Fudge. I hope you’ll help me celebrate even more this afternoon by sharing your opinion with me in my first reader survey. Let’s make the next 1,000 posts even better!

I once got a small package containing coupons in the mail from a friend. When I ripped off the brown kraft paper I discovered a familiar piece of cardboard; a blue Walmart sample box. I’m eagerly anticipating my next boxed Walmart sample, because I’m gonna turn that box inside out and create a new box, ready to mail or package a gift. And She Lived has an inspirational Walmart Box Hack that you’ve got to check out. No stickers or paper cover-ups required.

I received the September 26 issue of All You. At first glance I was excited to see the total value of all coupons at $63.38. Then I looked at the list and realized there is a coupon for a free Contour blood glucose meter ($33.48 value). So then I looked at the rest of the coupons and although there is a good variety of coupons, I didn’t see many I would expect to use. So I’ll enjoy browsing my issue, clipping a few coupons, but I won’t be running to Walmart to buy more copies like I did with the last issue.

Visit the complete Walmart deals lists from:
Money Saving Mom(updated 8/26)
The Centsible Sawyer(updated 8/24)
Deal Seeking Mom (updated 8/25)

They will help you match up those coupons you have with great prices! Just remember that each Walmart store carries a slightly different selection of products and that the prices also vary slightly by region.

Just wanted to leave a note to say the Wal-mart Gain freebie isn’t a freebie, just a sample of the scent card for the detergent and possibly a coupon. It’s a bummer as we all could use some extra detergent : ( Keep fighting the good fight Heather!

Kelly – Ugh! Walmart has tricked me into thinking that all their samples are great ones. Why would I want to smell the laundry detergent when I need to use some – it’s not like it’s perfume!!! Oh well, maybe they’ll include a coupon? Thanks for reading – I tend not to read everything closely when I’m in a hurry to list the Walmart ones!

The Contour coupon might be put to good use at CVS. Plus these are great to donate, so don’t write it off just yet!Tara @ Deal Seeking Mom

You’re right, Tara! Great for CVSers, but I found when I was shopping at CVS every week that the meters tend to not stay in-stock if there is any type of deal on them.
