Update: Ok, y’all talked me out of going to Sonic – it sounds like you might need a coupon (or printed email from Sonic) to get this freebie (thanks, Morgan) and there will likely be long lines (according to Andrea who has actually waited in one), and a drink with caffeine makes a poor after-dinner treat (thanks to my hubby for pointing out the obvious – I’ll be awake all night because I rarely drink anything with caffeine in it). Hey – maybe these types of freebies are not worth blogging about? I want to hear from you if you went to Starbucks or Jamba Juice on Tuesday, or Sonic on Wednesday. Was it worth it? Or was it a hassle? And here is a restaurant-specific freebie that I will/won’t be doing! Visit Sonic on Wednesday evening, April 9 from 5 to 8 pm for a free 10-oz. Mocha Iced Latte. According to Sonic, not all locations have these new drinks – so you might want to call if you don’t recall seeing signs for them at your local Sonic. And you might need a coupon (but the email sent by Sonic doesn’t say print this out and use as your coupon), so definitely call before you go! Find a Sonic near you here.
So cool, thanks for leaving a note Rhiannon! I’m glad to hear it was a good experience for you!
I went to Jamba Juice this morning with my 4yo daughter. Was in and out in exactly eight minutes with a granola topper for myself and a “juicie” for my daughter. The man at the counter said that any of their smoothies and new breakfast items were free today. Absolutely worth it!!
Well, I guess that Jamba Juice was a big hit! Glad I shared this one with everyone!
My free smoothie was delicious!
I went to Jamba Juice. A short line and I could order any smoothie. Also, one for my son. My husband went earlier with the same results. A great treat!
That’s cool to hear, Tricia – that you had a great experience at Jamba Juice this morning! Thanks for sharing!
There were only 4 people in front of me in line.. and they let me order anything I wanted in the 12 oz. size plus smoothies for my kids. It was great!
Thanks for the comment, Michelle – that’s good to hear that the Starbucks samples don’t usually create a big crowd. And I’m guessing they also offer those samples to their drive-thru customers? I’m all about the drive-thru with two toddlers in tow.
I used to work at Starbucks and the free coffee days don’t really lead to much longer lines.
I’m so glad you had a great experience at Jamba Juice this morning, Anissa and Eric! It sounds like they know how to run a good promotion!
I went to jamba juice today and they had two tables set up right at the front door with mixed berry drinks and mango drinks. Those were the freebies they were offering. It was nice. No waiting at all.
I was at Jamba Juice this morning and maybe waited ~10 minutes for my free Berry Topper (mixed berries w/ granola on tope) w/ Immunity boost. You could only order something off their new breakfast menu, but it was tasty and would have cost me $4 otherwise. It was definiteky worth it:)
Even if they don’t require a coupon, be prepared to wait a loooong time. I went on the free root beer float night some months ago and had to wait about 30 minutes for it. I actually didn’t mind because I was child free and had a good book along with me :)
I called my Sonic and they said you had to have a coupon. So make sure you call yours before going down there.
