This never works. I texted it WHILE STANDING at the kiosk and did if from another phone a few hours prior to trying to use it and neither code worked. I think it’s a company-endorsed scam to collect cell numbers. Not worth giving out private information for a dollar.
I encourage you to contact Redbox and give them Feedback. I get a free movie via text message from Redbox every month – and I’ve never received any unwanted texts from them.
