*Expired* Coupons 4 Mom: Turn on your printer

by Freebies4Mom on July 31, 2008 7:49 am

Have you tried the Safari browser for printing coupons? I’m hearing from some readers that it is the magic bullet for printing coupons for them whether it’s a “bricks” or SmartSource coupon! It’s free to download – and it’s not just for Macs.

Still can’t print coupons? Carrie says “if people can not get the brick coupons to print, then on the lower right hand corner of the page is the help button. If you double click it, some of them will have a screen where you can input your address and have the coupon(s) mailed to you.” It really does work – my readers are getting their coupons in the mail!

This is my weekly update on what’s new from Coupons, Inc. – the company that manages the and “bricks” printable coupons.

Purple “Quick Print” Coupons
Have you seen my purple “quick print” coupon ads in the left and right sidebars? This is where you can quickly scan the list of 35 coupons and print the ones you want. It’s a quicker way to print coupons, and they will print three to a page. If you’ve already printed your limit of a coupon, it will not appear on the list. Also, the list may vary slightly based on your zip code if you’ve entered it on the site before. I hope you enjoy this smart coupon printing tool, and thank you for supporting my blog by printing through it!

What’s my favorite “Quick Print” coupon this week?
Save $1.00 Hershey’s Bliss Chocolate

What else is new to “Quick Print” this week?
Save $2 Dove Clinical Protection anti-perspirant/deodorant

Now I’m checking the full list of coupons at to bring you what’s new and what’s hot. There is some overlap with the “Quick Print” coupons but the lists are indeed different. Here’s the only new coupon that I spotted on the list:
Save $10.00 Breeze litter system from Purina Tidy Cats

Bricks Coupon List
This is a giant list of 95 printable coupons scattered across different product websites. It’s a great list to browse if you are new to printable coupons. What’s new on the list this week?

Save $1.00 on Malt-o-Meal, here’s the second link (better take those to Walmart and you might get free cereal)
Liberty of Calico Garden wrote “two more tips for coupons – if you submit a request for store to carry their product you link to another $1.00 off any Malt O Meal cereal (brick) and if you join their Cereal Club you link to a different $1.00 off any Malt O Meal cereal (brick)” I’m hoping these are different than the two bricks links above, let me know!

Save $1.00 on Rose’s Mojito or Rose’s Cocktail Infusions

Save $1.00 on Felipo Berio Olive Oil
Remember to hit the back button to print the “bricks” coupons twice!

Save $5 on $20 at Walgreens *TODAY ONLY*
$2 Farm Rich Pizza Snacks – anyone know how much these cost?
Blue Bunny – sign up and the email you more coupons to print!
$1 Kotex – this was a new coupon for me to print!
$1/2 Tennessee Pride

$0.55 Skintimate Shave Gel

$7 Crest Whitestrips
COUPON REMINDERS from Freebies 4 Mom

How to you maximize savings with coupons? 14 readers chimed in on this question, go read the responses!

The Cheerios Challenge
– Did you sign up? If not, it looks like you still can! I got my first coupon by email this morning so Save $1.00 and was able to print it twice. I’m guessing that they will mail out the “FREE” coupons?

Pet Freebies 4 Mom
– Get your free samples and coupons for your pets!

Nestle Crunch
– Have you still not entered this one-time instant win sweeps? You could get a free coupon, but hurry up because today is the last day to try your luck.

Watch my “Hottest 4 Coupons” list because this is where I’ll share new coupons with you. You can easily get to this week’s Coupons 4 Mom post by clicking on “Coupons” in the top menu bar. What are your favorite printab

I tried to email them but their contact page didn’t even work!! I think their IT department needs to be culled!

I emailed them because I was not able to access the registration page. THey responded back with some unuseful techie advice (my computer was just fine). I emailed this back to them and they basically said “Sorry but its not our problem…its too late to get the free box ayway.” I promptly responded that my 8 month old’s future cereal snacking would be more inexpensive store brand cereal.

Wow — my name in print! Woo Hoo! I had a great week of freebies the past week or two actually. This last week though I came home to my mail box literally overflowing to stuff sitting on top, in my paper box and on the wood ledge… not sure if that is legal mail delivery actually. But, oh well – we got great stuff! Kraft Mac & Cheese individual samples & Italian style, Betty Crocker Delights, Walmart samples (3), toothpaste from winning with the Colgate contest, samples of multi grain cheerios, two shampoo samples and three magazine subscritptions I learned of for frer: Ready Made, Women's Day and Esquire! Wow! Thanks for all of your hard work!

Thanks for reminder for the Nestle game–I won! I never win on IW games, so thank you!My experience with printing out coupons on my laptop and desktop: Safari on Windows XP won’t even open the Bricks coupons, it sits with the “Please Wait” message. Firefox works 75% of the time. When forced, I’ll use Explorer, and it works 100% of the time with Bricks. Weird, huh?

WOO HOO!!!

M – Look for a purple coupon ad that features different coupons – and has a blue “Quick Print” button. Sometimes my ad at the right changes to just a “” ad without showing the coupons. But it’s also on the left. Just an easier way to print quickly!

MIchelle July 31, 2008 at 11:59 am

OK, I am new to your site, and feel silly for posting htis, but here it goes…I do not see the purple quick print buttons on the sidebars for coupons. Am I blind or missing something?

Great timing! I am going to use my one Bliss q for almost free chocolate today at Walgreens. Now I will pay .50 for 3 bags! Thanks for pointing that coupon out! BTW- it went away after I printed one. I thought you could print 2 from those toolbars?

Reba July 31, 2008 at 9:46 am

Forgot to mention – on most of the pages, there is no “help” button. It just goes to “please wait” and never prints.

Reba July 31, 2008 at 9:43 am

I can never get bricks coupons to print. I use a mac and I’ve tried on safari, firefox, and ie. Anyone else experience that?

Kristie McNealy July 31, 2008 at 9:40 am

I’m loving the Cheerios coupons. I’m glad I read about that promo on your site. It works out great, because Cheerios are on sale for 3/$5 this week at our Albertson’s ($1.67 each). With the coupon, they are 0.67! This isn’t the little box either!

Karen July 31, 2008 at 8:59 am

I’m a Mac user who can ONLY use Safari, but Safari isn’t the answer when it comes to bricks coupons. I have to dig out a laptop that crawls on Windows Vista to print most bricks coupons. I don’t know why they won’t fix the problem. I’ve E-mailed them multiple times.

Savings Garden July 31, 2008 at 8:37 am

I didn’t get a FREE coupon either. Only two for $1.00 off.
