I finally opened a Gmail account so that I can start working smarter. I made the switch after reading Six Ways Gmail Makes Blogging Easier on BlogCoach and Email: Transform This Tool from Stressful to Useful on Simple Mom. I’ll let these two bloggers tell you why Gmail is better and can help you work smarter. The wonderful part is that I don’t even need to give-up any of my current email addresses in order to make Gmail work for me. I still receive all of my email, it is simply forwarded to my Gmail account and I respond to most of it from there. So, you might be hearing from me from my new email account, I’m simply “Freebies4Mom” at Gmail.com.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gmail!!!!
I am a writer over at BrightHub.com (and of course a Freebies4mom subscriber). There are some great articles about Gmail and other Google apps on the Google Channel. Everything you ever wanted to learn how to do is basically covered. Lifehacker is also a great source. Better Gmail2 (a firefox extension for Gmail) is fantastic. I wrote an article about it at BH and you can download it from Lifehacker.I love Gmail. It it definitely the best free, web-based email–bar none.
Thanks for the helpful Gmail Links! I use it but obviously not to the full advantage that I should. The idea of the To Do List to make sure that you do not forget to email someone back, is a really neat idea!
YAY! More gmail people LOL I love it and the fact that you can chat with other gmail people!
I’ve been with GMail since they were in Beta and ADORE it!! :) Once you go GMail, you never go back.
Great, Heather! Now you have to check out all the "labs" stuff. Look for the green beaker icon at the top of the page." Gmail now has video and voice chat.I <3 Gmail!
