*Expired* The Couponizer Giveaway

by Freebies4Mom on August 29, 2008 1:45 pm

Two lucky readers will win The Couponizer in this giveaway sponsored generously by Amy Bergin who founded The Couponizer Company. I became an affiliate for this product after I ordered one to find out if it is a good coupon organization system to refer my readers to. I am impressed with the product and decided to help promote it.

If you are currently seeking a new coupon organization system, then I encourage you to try The Couponizer. If you are happy with your current system, then I can’t think of a reason why you would want to try something new (unless you want to give it as a gift to a fellow couponer). It is amazing how many different ways there are to organize your coupons. I always encourage you to seek the system that works the best for you, and not to be afraid of changing it (or abandoning it) to try something that works better. I’m constantly seeking improvements to my own system, I’ve blogged about my coupon filing system in the past and am due to post an update for you because it has changed to meet my needs.

There is a special promotion currently where if you order The Couponizer you also will receive the book “Greatest Secrets of the Coupon Mom” by Stephanie Nelson (founder of This is a great book for any couponer to have. My two lucky readers who win this giveaway will also receive this book with their new coupon system.

So, what exactly is The Couponizer? Feel free to visit their website for more information. Here is my own brief description of this system:

* Coupon File – a heavy-duty spiral-bound notebook that has a pocket for each category.

* Coupstacker Mat – this is the coolest new tool in the package for me because when you file a stack of coupons it is more efficient to sort by category before filing.

* Shopping List – a notepad that sits in the front of your file, for each item on your list you indicate if you have a coupon for that item.

* CoupTracker List – a notepad to simply list how much you spend at the grocery store and what your savings are. I’ve always wanted to track this, and now this list will make it easier to do so because it’s quicker to write down when I first get home.

* Scissors – if you clip coupons you know that you can never have scissors in enough places to help you keep up with the clipping. The key for me to keep up is to clip coupons in small batches in several different spots in my house, so several pairs of scissors is key to make this happen.

* Plastic Protective Zip-Up Pouch – what a great idea to protect your coupon file from the rain and ensure that nothing accidentally flies out while you tote it around.

* Guide to Smart Savings – a short but comprehensive guide to help you get the most out of this coupon filing system.

The cool thing about this system is that it’s ready-to-use. Everything is labeled for you, there is even a place to put your grocery store loyalty cards. If you wanted to change a category label, you could easily do so by sticking a label over the pocket

GritsGirl – I haven’t done it, but check out: for sending coupons overseas. There are other programs out there as well. On the pro side lots of coupons can be used at commissaries overseas. On the con side it takes time, organization and paying postage to mail coupons overseas.

I just read that kait said that she sends her expired coupons to military over seas. I would love to do that but am unsure of how to get started. Please someone let me know!!!

Heather September 4, 2008 at 4:51 pm

No worries! Just want to make sure you’ve got your entry in. I understand there may be a few duplicate entries and that’s why I go thru the list and delete any second entries if necessary. Good luck!

I would love to win one, and may just have to invest in it if I don’t. I recently lost my coupon organizer and all my coupons–devastating. 🙁

I found this in the nick of time, I’m crossing my fingers. Between my pay being cut 30% and my wedding in 44 Days (YEAY!)I need all the help I can get, to run my household like a well oiled machine. My current organizer is about to break from a ton of use, and i’m it’s second owner. Thanks for having great Give Aways!!PS – I just started sending my unused and expired coupons to the troups overseas… what a great feeling! I love Couponing!

If any of my readers decide to purchase The Couponizer if they don’t win this giveaway, please use this coupon code STARTNOW to Save 10% off your order. If any new coupon codes become available, I’ll let you know – and I hope to continue to bring you great giveaways like this one because I love to give things away for FREE!

I am so frustrated with my pile of coupons that I’ve decided to purchase the couponizer if I don’t win it. I’ve chosen to purchase it thru a link on Freebies 4 Mom so she gets the credit. The reason I chose F4M over the other blogs I love to read? It seems that the others might support a candidate I don’t. So my message here is: You might want to consider keeping politics out of your blogs!

Heather September 2, 2008 at 2:07 pm

Don’t worry, lots of people accidentally enter twice and I just delete the extra entry before I draw the winner!

Heather September 2, 2008 at 1:59 pm

Oops.. I wonder if I entered this twice. Can I please blame it on the post pregnancy brain?

Janell September 2, 2008 at 11:41 am

This is a cool give a way. I go through at least three coupon books a year. I try to save at least $30 a shopping trip. I would love to actually track it.

liza121870 August 31, 2008 at 11:46 am

i save every coupon i come into contact with i saved $90 last month grocery shopping but i need a new way to do coupons i got just an envelope so hoping i win 🙂

Talia August 31, 2008 at 7:56 am

I have been a fellow Couponizer for years. I actually bought it when Amy Beargin came to visit my MOPS group several years back. You actually pay for this system usually in your first trip to the store not to mention the FREE book written by the herself. I am such a believer in the Couponizer that I recently signed up as a consultant and would be happy to help anyone who has questions…whether you win it or not!!

Saph August 30, 2008 at 11:02 am

This sounds just like what I need! I’ve tried many different ways before. Also, my computer was acting up so my entire e-mail address didn’t get put in my entry. My blog is is you should need to contact me.

Jana (sidetrack'd) August 29, 2008 at 2:46 pm
