Check out this deal that Way More 4 Less discovered! A great find if you need a little help getting ready for the 4th of July celebration. Of course you never know if your Walmart will have the same deal, but if you are already shopping there you can check to see if they do.
Visit last week’s Walmart Freebies 4 Mom and you’ll find everything you wanted to know (and more) about free samples, coupons and freebiEvents at Walmart.
Speaking of the upcoming 4th of July holiday – do you have any ideas for celebrating at home with toddlers? I’m looking for a safe and fun activity or craft for my 1 and 3 year old sons. Please leave a comment here, and link to your blog if you’ve posted something related!
Hello! My sons are grown with kids of their own, but I still believe a backyard celebration is the best way to celebrate for young children! The Dollar Store or 98 cent only store have great ideas for young people. Glowing bracelets, poppers and colorful stuff to keep them busy!!Happy 4th!!!Carrie in Sacramento
I am keeping my kids up late for the fireworks-by hopefully pushing back their nap time as far back as possible. We are planning on spending the day outdoors. Craft ideas: Decorate cookies, paint with red/white/blue paint (or finger paints is always a hit), make a flag by gluing-ahead of time, cut out the red stripes, 1 blue square, and buy some star stickers. Then have the kids glue it onto a piece of white paper. (Your older one might be able to do the cutting himself if you draw the lines.)Just some ideas!! Have a great 4th.
Sounds like fun, Kate! I’m looking for a daytime activity – my boys go to bed at 7:30, before it gets dark.
Here in Indiana, all you have to do is go outside… especially after dark. You wouldn’t believe the full-on fireworks all around!
