Can Crock-Pot® Cuisine come to your dinner rescue?

I knew exactly what was for dinner each night for the first week of school thanks to the Crock-Pot® Cuisine meal kits I selected. It was so wonderful to be able to start cooking each meal in my Crock-Pot® in less than five minutes during my rushed work-at-home lunch break. I got so much done while dinner was cooking inside my Crock-Pot® including checking my mailbox, calling my Mom, writing a blog post, picking up my kids from the bus stop and helping them with their homework. Now I feel spoiled and I’m keeping my Crock-Pot® on my counter so it can help me with more easy dinners. I ordered these four meal kits:  Lemon Herb Chicken, Sage Garlic Chicken and White Bean, Layered Beef Lasagna and Roasted Chicken and Mini Herbed Dumplings. I placed my order on a Friday and was able to schedule delivery for next Wednesday (or any day after Wednesday). My order was shipped via UPS on dry ice and it arrived frozen as promised. I was impressed with the quick shipping and loved that I could select which day I wanted to receive my meals. Crock-Pot® Cuisine Meal Kits Our favorite meal kit was the Layered Beef Lasagna because it was so meaty (and not too saucy). Our second favorite meal kit was the Roasted Chicken And Mini Herbed Dumplings because it reminded us of chicken pot pie. The Sage Garlic Chicken and White Bean was really good – it was a nice change to have beans with chicken instead of rice or pasta. We also liked the Lemon Herb Chicken that had giant green beans in it. These do not taste like frozen meals – they taste like you made them from scratch in your kitchen – which of course you didn’t because the purpose of the meal kits is to save you time. I liked the Chef’s Tips included with each meal kit and used a few of them (i.e. substituting chicken stock for cold water). Each meal is enough food for four adult servings.
