Sorry, they are closed to new applications. Earn extra money by taking surveys when you sign-up for Pinecone Research. They are currently accepting new applications for specific demographics, just take the 4-question quiz to find out if you may qualify. Taking online surveys can be a good way to earn extra income if you have time to dedicate to it and if you are participating in the highest paying survey programs. I’ve heard Pinecone pays $3 per survey and they also give you the opportunity to test products and share your opinion on them. If you think you might be interested, then you should apply now because they only accept new members during short periods of time.
I have not personally participated in this survey program, but I know it is recommended by other frugal bloggers as one of the best. My goal at Freebies 4 Mom is to help my readers, and I know that some of you are looking for paid survey opportunities like this one. If you have participated in Pinecone, please share your experience by leaving a comment.

I am so excited! I never qualify for anything, but I applied for this and was accepted. I can’t wait for my first survey to come in!
do i sign up on their site or do u hv t2b invited…
That sounds like something I can totally find time to do and earn some extra cash!!!
How does this work
I can’t get past the words. Ive done it like 30 times already. Am I doing something wrong? It just keeps taking me back to the home page?
I wouldn’t try to lie on the application. There is a contract you sign at the end, and if you have put any false information on your application, and they find out, they can prosecute you, take back what they’ve paid you, etc. I was accepted and I am caucasian, I really think it just depends on the specific opening they have at the time you apply.
White females ages 25-34 with 3 people in their household seem to not quailify :(
Pinecone Research is definitely one of my favorite survey sites. They’re always reliable and have fun, easy surveys and quick payout. $3 may not seem like much, but it’s easy money and it certainly helps overtime!
They put cookies and web beacon on your computer. How does that effect using your computer to do online banking?
I applied and was accepted after you first posted about their openings a couple weeks ago. I have completed 2 surveys since then and have already received one of my $3 checks! Seems to be a very good surver site!
Hey Terika! Swagbucks is basically a search engine. Well, I think it started that way, anyway hehe now it has a life of its own! You use it in place of your usual Google or Yahoo search engine, and they will award random searches with “swagbucks”. You can also do different things for a few extra ‘bucks each day, such as downloading their toolbar and viewing the no-obligation special offers. In addition, they have swag-codes that you can put in to earn bucks, these are usually like code scavenger hunts that the admin (“The Swag Guy”) gives clues about at random times during a week, the clues could be on facebook or twitter, but are usually found in the Swagbucks blog. It’s like a whole functioning animal, I highly recommend it, it’s a blast. I’ve used my Swagbucks to get one Amazon gift card for $5, and most recently got a Playstation 3 remote control with Swagbucks!
the key to getting accepted is what the other lady said: F, 18-24, single
Well I just finished signing up. They accepted me to do their surveys so now I am just waiting for my first one. Also I have been reading about swagbucks. I really don’t understand what it is. Could someone fill me in???? I would love to make so extra money/gift cards towards Christmas for my baby!!!!! And thank you everyone for informing me on cool deals!!!!
yeah, it is odd. seems the aren’t looking for ‘caucasian’ females. i have tried several times and got turned down, but low and behold tried today with native-american (which i am 1/3) and got to put in my application. now lets see if i get accepted.
@terika: swagbucks is another good legit way to earn money. you can redeem your swagbucks for paypal cards each month. i average $25 in amazon gift cards and $20 in paypal credit every month from swagbucks; all totally free!
I just signed up so now I have to wait and see if I’m accepted. Do any of you know of or recommend other survey companies? I have never done anything like this because I always thought it was a scam. So any info you know will help. I really want to earn extra money for Christmas gift for my little girl!!!
I didn’t qualify either with just 2 people in my household. Maybe it’s the age thing, but I’m only 28. :-( oh well, mabye I’ll try again another time.
I have applied several times and each time I’m turned away. For kicks I tried putting in various ages and sex and it didn’t change the acceptance factor. I finally changed the ethnicity and once I put in anything but Caucasian it was accepted. How sad. I would never lie about my ethnicity, but it seems a bit odd that each time being Caucasian and age (25-35) with a family of 4 isn’t needed. Doesn’t seem quite right!
I love this paid survey, like others are saying, you are always qualified if you recieve an invite. I usually get a couple of invites a month and have mine set up to my paypal so I get payment within a couple of days straight to my account. Also when selected to product test they have been well known brands.
I believe they are looking for 18-24 year old women… =)
@Em – Me too! BUMMER! :(
I applied, here’s to hoping I get accepted!
I was happy that I recently got accepted to Pinecone’s panel.
I have been doing paid surveys online for 3 years now, and I am very happy that I have.
So they send you a check for $3 for each survey completed? They don’t hold them until the end of the month or something and then mail them out?
It allowed me to apply. Hopefully I’m accepted! :)
White female age 35-40something with 5 people in household and I did not qualify. : (
I have been with them since February. The surveys are pretty simple and as someone stated above there is no “you don’t qualify.” I generally receive at least 1 survey a month, while more commonly 2-3 surveys. While $3 may not seem like much it does add up. To date, I’ve received $57 in compensation.
I am a white 25-34 year old female with 5 persons in my household and it said i didnt qualify…
boooo
i love surveys. lol
I’ve been with Pinecone for about a year and have earned around $50. The best thing about Pinecone is you are automatically qualified for every survey they send. As long as you answer all the questions, you will get paid, unlike other survey companies that tell you after numerous questions that you didnt qualify.
@ lin
have you tried hitting the green arrows off the right of the captcha box? it gives u new words. i have sometimes gotten images instead of words so i just hit those until i finally get a word! i hope that helps!
I have tried to reg several times with them and get to the part on the form regarding “words in the image” and there are no words….has someone else had this problem as well?
I recently applied to do their surveys and they accepted me! It took a few days for a response for a yay or nay.
I have used Pinecone for a couple of years and have been pretty happy. Some months you get hardly any surveys and other months you are getting checks daily. I do find it to be one of the best, if not the best, reward programs out there. We cash the checks and save the money for Christmas gifts. It’s nice to see the money add up. $3 doesn’t sound like much but over a year it certianly helps out!
