by Freebies4Mom on September 1, 2010 6:36 am

Sorry, this coupon code has expired. Last day to order your 3 FREE 5×7 Folded Photo Greeting Cards ($5.97 value) from Shutterfly with the coupon code SUMMERCARDS and shipping is only 99 cents if you have all 3 cards sent back to you. This is a brand new coupon code!
These are beautiful folded 5×7 photo cards where you can put lots of photos on the front and inside, they would normally cost $1.99 each. You can make any photo card.  I made general “Thank You” cards using family photos so we’ll be able to use them all year long.   This offer expires Wednesday, September 1
Here’s how to load that coupon code into your account: 234x90
1. Log in to Shutterfly and click on “My Account” at the very top right. Or sign-up for a new account and get 50 free prints.
2. “Enter Special Offer Code” is at the bottom of the page, load the coupon code SUMMERCARDS into your account.
3. See your code in your account when you click on “My Special Offers” and it will ask you anytime you checkout if you’d like to apply it to your order. The expiration date is Wednesday, September 1.
4. Select your Card Design: Go to “Store” in the top menu then “Cards” and you can “Shop by Card Type” and select the “5×7 Folded Greeting Cards” to see what they have.
5. Just pay shipping (and applicable sales tax) when you order your three 5×7 folded greeting cards. When you use your coupon it does not apply towards standard shipping which should cost only $0.99 if you have all 3 cards sent back to you.
6. Expires Wednesday, September 1 so don’t forget to design and order your 3 cards before this coupon code expires!

Which photo card design did you select? Please leave a comment to share which design you selected!

I had the same issue as many others – have never had it charge 99 cents per card in the past but today was 99 cents each, even though the cards were all the same. Oh well, like others have said, just over $3 isn’t bad for 3 custom cards!

I too had to pay .99 shipping for each card, but after spending so much time making them, decided to go ahead and place the order anyway. I was ordering three of the same card, but only had the option of ordering 1 or 5. I finally had to go back and put the same card in three different times to get the right quantity. A lot more hassle than the last time they offered this deal.

I just ordered mine & paid $3.06 for shipping & handling. It was still a good deal even though 99 cents for all 3 would’ve been better. Kind of weird some got it cheaper. Oh well…I still needed to make these cards.

I have a feeling that Shutterfly may have changed the cost of shipping on the cards. I’ll find out for sure next time I order.

Ok I have three accounts…on the first one…no worries….1.06 on the other two .99 PER CARD to ship. It’s still a good deal, but NOT the deal that they have publicized on FB and Online… I’m wondering. I called them but they had TWENTY MINUTE WAIT TIMES. Looks like I’m leaning towards Snapfish.

I just did mine last night and had to pay a little over 3 dollars for shipping. Still a good deal, considering the time it took me to make/personalize them for upcoming birthdays. Still cheaper than buying each one at the store…..but wish I could’ve gotten them for a dollar.

I tried both ways, different cards and then ordering the same card and either way it was .99 cents shipping each. Wonder why some people are getting it for .99 shipping for all 3? Maybe they are preferred customers?

I didnt have a problem at all, my total was $1.09.That was for the 3 cards, shipping and tax.

Corinne September 1, 2010 at 11:28 am

I made all three and then found out it’s .99 to ship each card, plus taxes. I think I’ll just order the one really special one I designed for my wedding anniversary and skip the other two. Still a good deal, but not as great as I was hoping for. Thank you for always reminding us about the expiration on these, as personally I procrastinate like no one’s business and miss out on a bunch of these deals! 🙂

yes it is charging the .99 shipping per a card. Bummer i really wanted to do this and i feel like i just wasted an hour of my time designing them and now i will not be getting them. it also will not let e order just 3 of the same card it only gives me the option of 1 or 5 and so on:( not happy with there new changes

Thanks so much for the reminder. I put the code onto my account but then haven’t made the cards yet!

I had the same issue with the shipping cost when I ordered my cards. Kind of a bummer…but still a great deal considering you get a personalized card delived to your door for a $1 each.

Yes, I just did this the other day (and emailed Shutterfly customer service which was NO help) and shipping was 99 cents per card.

Cathy @ Chief Family Officer September 1, 2010 at 7:50 am

FYI, it’s charging me 99 cents shipping per card now, even if they’re all sent to one address 🙁

Heather September 1, 2010 at 7:57 am

Well, I wonder if you can only order one design to get the shipping to come out to 99 cents total? I thought it was the same but I may be wrong.
